Foxx Life Sciences’ EZBio® Ultra Capsule Filters with PTFE membrane are pre-assembled, enclosed filtration devices. These PTFE cartridges have optimized flow rates with absolute and reliable particles and microorganism retention. Capsule filters feature high grade, double-layered Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane, with bacterial retention rate up to 0.2µm. PTFE cartridges are tested for extremely low extractables. These membranes are engineered for the filtration of process fluids that require a high degree of particle retention or constant bacterial barrier for effective sterilization. This unique combination of features positions them as one of the most reliable and economical PTFE membranes in the market. Available with a variety of inlet/outlet configurations—including hose barbs, female NPT, and sanitary connections—these capsule filters are suitable for a wide range of bioprocessing applications. They are designed to operate at pressures up to 5.5 bar (80 psi), making them ideal for critical filtration tasks in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and industrial processes.
